Artofmatloc and Time Management on Shoots
Last week I had the pleasure of doing a shoot for my good friend and artist Artofmatloc. We were limited on time for this shoot and only had 30 minutes total including setup. I already knew I wanted to use an unfinished space to shoot in. I wanted the photos to look gritty yet have the art and subject pop. I also wanted to do something a little different with the lighting to separate the art and Matt.
With about 15 minutes of shoot time we were able to achieve the photos below.
For this photo I chose to add a little bit of haze to add something a little bit different to the image. I then changed this to black and white in post.
Sometimes life does not afford you all of the time in the world. Always come into any kind of shoot with a plan to make the best of the time that you do have.
Lastly I wanted to share some custom artwork that Artofmatloc provided for me. I had the concept of combining artist and icon Frida Kahlo with an album cover by a band called The Maine’s album titled Pioneer. With that Artofmatloc brought it to life.
If you are in need of graphic design, logos, paintings etc. he is definitely the guy to reach out to.
